RightStart™ Mathematics Levels

RightStart™ Mathematics Level D — Common Questions

RightStart™ Mathematics Level D covers Numeration: rounding and numbers to the millions, multiplication facts to 10 × 10 and the properties, multiplying a 4-digit number by a 1-digit number, division facts and missing factors, fractions, equivalences, and mixed numbers, time, money, area, and measurement (US & metric), and geometry, angles, data, and problem solving. Lessons build incrementally and review earlier skills so concepts stick over time.
RightStart™ Mathematics Level D is designed for students working at roughly a 3rd Grade level, but placement is based on mastered skills rather than age. The most reliable way to confirm the right starting point is to take the free placement test.
Most students complete RightStart™ Mathematics Level D in one school year at a pace of about four to five lessons per week. You can move faster or slower — the program is self-paced, so spend extra time on tougher topics and move quickly through ones your student already knows.
RightStart™ Mathematics video lessons with Nicole the Math Lady are in development (Starting August 2026). You can take the free placement test now to find the right level and join the waitlist to be the first to know when RightStart™ Mathematics Level D launches.
