RightStart™ Mathematics Levels

RightStart™ Mathematics Level C — Common Questions

RightStart™ Mathematics Level C covers Numeration: Roman numerals and place value to the thousands, mental 2-digit and written 4-digit addition and subtraction, multiplication through arrays and multiples to 5 × 5, money, making change, and telling time to the minute, measurement: length, perimeter, and area, geometry: 2-D and 3-D shapes, symmetry, and tessellations, and unit fractions, line plots, and problem solving. Lessons build incrementally and review earlier skills so concepts stick over time.
RightStart™ Mathematics Level C is designed for students working at roughly a 2nd Grade level, but placement is based on mastered skills rather than age. The most reliable way to confirm the right starting point is to take the free placement test.
Most students complete RightStart™ Mathematics Level C in one school year at a pace of about four to five lessons per week. You can move faster or slower — the program is self-paced, so spend extra time on tougher topics and move quickly through ones your student already knows.
RightStart™ Mathematics video lessons with Nicole the Math Lady are in development (Starting August 2026). You can take the free placement test now to find the right level and join the waitlist to be the first to know when RightStart™ Mathematics Level C launches.
