Three simple steps

How Online Grading Works

Work the problems

Your student works through the day's warmup, practice set, or test from their own textbook — same books, same problems they'd do on paper.

Enter answers online

Students of all ages can enter their answers on their own. No more waiting on you to correct practice sets before moving forward.

Get instant results

Each problem is graded on the spot, so students can correct mistakes before moving on — and every result is recorded for you automatically.

Note: You must have your own set of textbooks — students work the problems from their books and enter answers online.

Full coverage

Everything They Do Gets Graded

Warmups

Daily mental-math and review problems, checked instantly.

Practice Sets

The full problem set from each lesson — the heart of daily math work.

Tests

Scheduled tests are graded for you, with results saved to your student's record.

We believe in second chances

(And third, fourth, and fifth.) You decide how many retries your student gets on each problem — so a careless slip becomes a chance to self-correct instead of a red mark.

Every retry is recorded, so you'll know the difference between a concept they've mastered and one that needed a few attempts.

Why it matters

Why Families Love Automated Grading

Gives Instant Feedback

Students learn right away whether their answer is right or wrong, so they can put in a correction before moving on to the next problem — while the thinking is still fresh.

Creates Independence

Students of all ages can enter answers on their own. Math keeps moving even when you're busy with another child, dinner, or work.

Saves You Time

You'll receive an email of exactly what they got right, wrong, and how many retries it took. Less time grading, more time teaching where it's needed most.

Works with your books

Online Grading Is Available for These Curriculums

And You'll Know Exactly How They Did

Every graded result feeds your student's progress record, and you can get the details by email — what they got right, what they got wrong, and how many retries it took.

Online Grading FAQs

Yes. Your student works out the problems from their own books and enters the answers into the grading system. For Saxon Math, the student textbook, solutions manual, and test booklet are still required.
That's up to you. We believe in second chances (and third, fourth, and fifth) — you choose the number of retries your student gets on each problem.
Automated grading is available today for Saxon Math™, Singapore Math-Dimensions, and Math-U-See® (Alpha through Zeta — Pre-Algebra and Algebra 1 arrive Fall 2026). RightStart™ Mathematics grading starts releasing August 2026.
We keep track of their progress automatically, and you can choose to be notified of results by email — exactly what they got right, wrong, and how many retries it took. See Progress Reports for details.
