What edition of the Saxon books do you use? Can I use your program with earlier editions?

Here’s the edition I used for each of the textbooks. You can see the actual book covers on the Pricing page.

  • Saxon Math 5/4 – 3rd edition
  • Saxon Math 6/5 – 3rd edition
  • Saxon Math 7/6 – 4th edition
  • Saxon Math 8/7 – 3rd edition
  • Saxon Math Algebra 1/2 – 3rd edition
  • Saxon Math Algebra 1 – 3rd edition
  • Saxon Math Algebra 2 – 3rd edition
  • Advanced Math – 2nd edition
  • Geometry – 1st edition

I recommend using these textbooks. However, my videos follow the topics (versus the individual math problems), which means they can be used with other editions. I have found that some grades are only slightly different, while others require a bit more work. I have created correlations for the following editions. (Correlation sheets can be found in the “Materials” section of each course.)

4th Edition

There are no correlations for the 4th editions of the Algebra textbooks as they are completely different from the 3rd editions.
Algebra 1, 4th edition: videos are already available, but there is no online grading.
Algebra 2, 4th edition: there are no plans to offer video lessons with Nicole the Math Lady as the textbook has been discontinued.
